The following is a direct copy of the review for this game that was published on my Steam profile on February 19, 2019:
This game is utterly bizarre. Great, but bizarre. The best way to describe is as a weird, weird Cold War spy thriller parody set in a Neo-Japan setting with oddball humour that's making fun of basically everything pop-culture-related (seriously, prepare yourself for a LOT of pop culture references). It's pretty enjoyable, and definitely a game worth "100%-ing" (as much as a game like this can be 100%-ed) as there's a lot to see and miss on a first-time playthrough. There's also a bunch of side-activities - the most prominent of which is "WEDDING CAKE", a rip-off of Quake III Arena, that's actually a lot of fun and decently made, which is pretty impressive considering it's supposed to be a bit of a throwaway joke.
Bear in mind, however, the game is very short. Even if you are taking your time and doing your best to see everything there is to see, you can beat it well within a couple of hours. As a result, $21.50 AUD is a bit steep for the amount of content that is on offer. In terms of other negatives or issues - apart from the questionable pricing and game length - the movement controls felt a bit slide-y (like you were constantly walking on ice) and, on a more personal note, not all of the jokes landed for me and the ones that did only got a small chuckle. This is not to say that the game isn't well-written - it's just that the style of humour that this game has isn't completely for me.
Even though it has its issues, you should still check this game out - preferably when it's on sale - as I haven't quite played a game like it before.
